I've seen at least 10 launches in my inbox this week alone.

I guess we'll be measuring every summer in fruits. 2023? Strawberry glaze everything. Summer 2024? Tomatoes, for the "clean girls," and cherries, for everyone else. And 2025, seemingly, has already chosen its token produce: Guava. It's the newest flavor of our favorite lip balm, the main ingredient in toners and face mists, and the top note dominating summer perfume trends. Not to mention, it's about to get the "guava girl" treatment on TikTok, complete with monochrome makeup looks featuring tangy pink blush looks and matching glossy lips. Hell, even Dunkin is on board with a new Pink Spritz Refresher for summer.

As a beauty editor, I'm constantly fielding new pitches in my inbox. And rn, my email is stuffed with everything guava. But it feels even more than just an of-the-moment trend. Guava extract, found in many skincare products, is an antioxidant that's naturally high in vitamin C, which we already know is a powerhouse for brightening, firming, and hydrating skin. Similarly, guava pink makeup gives your skin a natural flush—whether your complexion is fair, medium, tan, or deep—that's quintessentially summer coded. And ofc, who doesn't wanna spritz on a delicious citrus perfume when it's 100 degrees outside? It all just makes sense, K?

Because I'm convinced it's all we'll be using the next three months (until the next fruit takes over... squash girl fall, anyone??), I've rounded up the best new releases, plus a few old faves, that all nod to our best guava summer ever.

We already know BHAs are the best for de-gunking your pores and lightly exfoliating to help reduce acne and blackheads. This toner pairs it with guava, not only to make it smell freakin' amazing, but help moisturize skin a lil bit and offset irritation.

Summer Fridays makes one of the best lip balms ever (we legit ranked it as our #1 fave tinted lip balm), but they were missing a bright pink shade. Enter: Pink Guava, the newest iteration that not only smells like a delicious summer treat, but gives off a gorgeous, juicy fuchsia hue.

If you prefer to smell like guava rather than wear it, just douse your body and hair in this mist from Kopari. A mix of fruits (guava, mandarin, mango, and papaya), plus base notes of sandalwood and vanilla, make this smell like a fruit basket, but like the kind your chic rich aunt would send over instead of coming to the family party. It's a body mist, not a heavy perfume, so it feels light and airy too.

Part glossy lip oil, part long-lasting stain, Kulfi low-key created the perfect summer lip product, especially in this Barbie-hued guava shade. The stain actually lasts fix to six hours, per my testing, so you can truly swipe it on and forget about it for a while.

If you're all about Ceremonia's award-winning guava hair products (lookin' at you, Guava Rescue Detangler, winner of a 2025 Cosmo Clean Beauty Award). But now the soft, citrus scent comes in a straight-up perfume mist. It's alcohol free, so it's less likely to dry out your skin or hair, but offers up a light guava-infused fragrance.

If you've been scrolling and you're like "I want guava final boss, baby," then you've come to the right spot. Ellis Brooklyn's newest sccent is peak summertime, with guava, banana, mango blossom, and melon. It's fresh and succulent and sexy—exactly what you want in a summer perfume.

A fan favorite for legit every Cosmo editor, this lip oil is strikingly similar to a lot of $$$ formulas for a whole lot less. This coral shade is pretty sheer, but offers up just a touch of summery vibes.

"Sunburn blush" is the best way to fake time out in the sun (without, ya know, damaging your precious skin). And Refy's newest guava shade of their cream blush is great for faking the flush. It's got a blendable and buildable opacity (making it work on a variety of skin tones) and lasts for hours on cheeks—a must in summer heat.

Hey, I get it: You're more of a "swipe on and go" person. These Merit cream blushes are hella easy to put on and blend with your fingers, plus they're fairly sheer if you're a blush newbie.

Forget everything you thought you knew about lipstick before trying this formula. It melts onto your lips for a soft balm that delivers a shocking amount of color. Guava Glaze, a bright coral, goes so well with a dewy, minimal makeup look for a pop of color.

Soooo what do you get when you combine a yummy guava scent with a rich, moisturizing body butter? This whipped cream that smells like a straight-up vacation. I've gone through multiple tubs of this formula—it's loaded with shea butter and mango butter to coat my skin in moisture.

The guava craze has even come for your summer glow. These self-tan drops include guava extract, which is filled with vitamin C, to help protect your skin as it gives you a soft glow.

Lip oil trend meet guava summer trend. 🤝 These stick lip oils from YSL are some of Cosmo's faves (they won a Holy Grail Award; that's how ya know). They glide onto lips and give off a soft color, but aren't goopy or heavy at all.

If your guava summer vibes feel more in line with a scene from Call Me By Your Name than High School Musical 2, Tropical by Arquiste is just that. It's garden-y and fresh with ripe guava, orchids, ginger, vanilla, and mahogany notes.
